The HRIS Lead is responsible for supporting the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of the Workday system. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze processes, and provide solutions that enhance operational efficiency, data integrity, and functional reliability.

Key Responsibilities
:
  • System Implementation: Assist in the deployment of Workday modules, ensuring configurations align with business requirements and industry best practices.
  • Provide guidance on maintaining security roles and permissions.
  • Perform User Acceptance Tests based on Technical documentations and coordinate results between developers and business.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to build and maintain integrations with other systems (e.g., Finance, IT, Payroll, and HRIS).
  • Test and troubleshoot change requests and assists on integration projects to ensure seamless data flow.
  • Support the transition to new systems or processes.
  • Create user guides and process documentation for future reference.
  • Create functional reference documents.
Requirements Gathering
: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document functional requirements for system enhancements and process improvements. Review functionalities based on community and industry best practices. Configure Workday modules based on business requirements.
Data Analysis
: Analyze and validate data within the Workday system, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all modules. Extend consultative support to Tier 1 Support teams in terms of strategies and solutions on how the team can move forward with their complex concerns and requirements, e.g., Data Governance, EDM, Recruiting, etc.
Troubleshooting
: Identify and resolve system issues, providing support to users and acting as a liaison between IT and business teams. Covers both Ticket-based, Meeting-based, and Project-based troubleshooting assistance.
User Training
: Develop and deliver training sessions and materials for end-users to maximize system utilization and efficiency.

Reporting and Analytics: Provide guidance on reports and dashboards within Workday to support decision-making and track key performance indicators.

Process Improvement
: Recommend process enhancements based on system capabilities and user feedback to improve workflows and efficiency. Analyze existing business processes and recommend improvements. Document business process flows and requirements.
Qualifications
:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2 to 3 Years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with Workday or similar HRIS / ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on collaboration.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Strong working knowledge of Workday.
  • Experience in Workday components such as Core HCM, Onboarding, Absence Management, Time Tracking, Benefits, Talent / Performance, and Advanced Compensation.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to manage small projects independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and prioritize requests.
  • Adapt well to change.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
