Haleon is seeking an HRBP Lead for the India Center to partner with the HBS capability center and leadership to translate business priorities into workforce, talent, and culture solutions. The role collaborates with CoEs and provides senior leadership coaching to build high-performing teams within India and GFS.

The successful candidate will drive organizational design, workforce planning, and culture change in a complex, matrix environment, reporting to the Global HRBL for HBS.

Qualifications

  • 14+ years of HR Business Partner experience or similar strategic HR role.
  • Strong business and financial literacy and understanding of services model.

About the role

The HRBP Lead – GCC for India Center provides strategic partnership to the HBS Capability Center Head, India and the x-functional HBS leadership team in India, contributing to decision-making and business plans that align with Haleon's ambitions and drive growth. Reporting to the Global HRBL for HBS, the role partners closely with senior business leadership and HR COEs Centres of Excellence (CoEs), and to shape the strategic business and people agenda for HBS in India. The role is accountable for translating business priorities into integrated workforce, talent, organisation, capability, and culture solutions in India center. This role will serve as a key member of the India Center leadership team, challenging and coaching leaders to build strong and high performing teams. The role also holds dual responsibility for covering as the HRBP for GFS (Global Finance Services) function, as part of the HBS ecosystem.

Role Responsibilities

Drive the effective implementation of the HBS operating models and organisational design in India, in close partnership with functional HR Partners. Translate and embed the overarching strategic workforce and capability plans within HBS in India, and for GFS globally with a particular focus on building digital, data & AI capabilities and the continuous excellence and end user experience mindset. Participate in the Haleon India Leadership forum to drive enterprise agenda for Haleon across entity governance, cross-business dependencies, risk/legal/compliance oversight, CSR, external stakeholder engagement, reputation and culture in the country. Embed and oversee the use of enterprise-wide performance management frameworks to cultivate a high-performance culture. Act as a trusted advisor and executive coach to senior leaders. Drive culture change, acting as a change leader to create a consumer-first, performance-oriented, and agile culture. Coach leaders and managers to lead inclusively, build team effectiveness, improve manager capability. Drive the execution and embedding of succession planning and talent pipeline strategies for key senior leadership roles. Provide strategic oversight, decision making and governance for complex and high-risk colleague and industrial relations cases. Partner with specialist CoE teams to deliver India centre and GFS projects.

Essential
  • 14+ years of experience in a HR Business Partner role or similar strategic HR role, ability to work with autonomy on the HR agenda
  • Strategic & Business Acumen:Strong business and financial literacy, with a deep understanding of the business services model, global market, and competitive context.
  • Leadership & Influence:A trusted advisor and sparring partner with strong influencing, coaching, and relationship-building skills to guide senior leaders.
  • Change Leadership and Agility:Proven skills to lead complex organisational change, ensure effective communication plans, and embed new ways of working.
  • Collaboration:An experienced matrix leader who works in an integrated way with CoE and People Services expertise to deliver results.
  • Data Literacy:Strong analytical capability and data literacy to inform decision-making and demonstrate the value of interventions.
  • Deep understanding and skill in working with cultural nuances and diverse market labour relations contexts.
  • Experience in actively leading digital and AI adoption within HR and the wider business.
  • Mindset and Agility – able to navigate complex, ambiguous challenges and find solutions to problems, drawing on a solution focused, growth mindset.
Preferred
  • Skilled in assessing and developing senior leaders and future potential.
