A leading company in the leisure sector is seeking an HR Supervisor to oversee its Human Resources department. This role involves managing recruitment, employee relations, compensation, training, and compliance, contributing strategically to HR initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
Job Summary:
The HR Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the Human Resources department, ensuring the efficient and compliant execution of all HR functions. This role is responsible for supervising the administration of recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, training and development, performance management, HR policies, compliance, and employee records. The HR Supervisor acts as a key support to the Senior HR Manager and plays a strategic role in implementing HR initiatives aligned with the company’s goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment and Talent Acquisition
Oversee end-to-end recruitment activities including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
Coordinate with department heads to forecast hiring needs.
Ensure hiring practices align with company standards and labor laws.
2. Employee Relations and Engagement
Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and conflict resolution.
Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture through engagement programs.
Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover trends.
3. Compensation and Benefits
Administer payroll and ensure accuracy and timeliness in coordination with Finance.
Supervise the administration of government-mandated and company-provided benefits.
Monitor and benchmark compensation structures to ensure market competitiveness.
4. Performance Management
Facilitate the implementation and monitoring of the company’s performance appraisal system.
Support managers in setting KPIs and conducting regular performance reviews.
Identify performance gaps and coordinate necessary interventions or training.
5. Training and Development
Identify training needs and develop annual training plans.
Coordinate internal and external learning and development programs.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training and development initiatives.
6. Policy Development and Compliance
Assist in developing, updating, and enforcing HR policies, procedures, and manuals.
Ensure compliance with local labor laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain HR audit readiness and facilitate internal or external audits.
7. HRIS and Records Management
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure confidentiality.
Supervise the maintenance of HR systems and databases.
Generate HR reports and analytics as needed by management.
8. Administrative Oversight
Monitor attendance and timekeeping systems.
Supervise HR administrative functions including document issuance, certifications, and filing.
Support organizational changes and internal communications.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
At least 5 years and above of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
Solid knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
HR certification (e.g., CHRP, PHR, SHRM-CP) is an advantage.
Experience in online gaming preferred.
