We're looking for an experienced and people-first
HR & Recruitment Manager who can lead with heart and strategy, driving both our
recruitment efforts and day-to-day HR operations that support every stage of the employee journey. In this role, you will collaborate closely with every new team member to ensure that they are thoughtfully hired, effectively onboarded, fully supported, and set up for long-term success. You'll play a critical role in shaping a positive and compliant work environment, all while supporting the people who support our mission.

Duties And Responsibilities
Recruitment
- Source mission-aligned candidates through platforms like Indeed, LinkedIn, school partnerships, and job fairs
- Manage job postings and ensure consistency across all platforms and recruitment pages
- Review applications, conduct Zoom screenings, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers
- Administer candidate assessments and maintain accurate tracking in our Paycom ATS
- Extend offers and ensure the completion of all pre-employment requirements
Onboarding & Offboarding
- Prepare and manage onboarding materials, including offer letters, HR forms, and system access
- Facilitate department introductions (IT, Payroll, Billing, Supervisors) to ensure a warm and complete onboarding experience
- Manage offboarding processes, including exit interviews, system deactivation, and coordination of final pay
Payroll & Compliance Support
- Work in partnership with Payroll to process new hire updates and employee changes
- Maintain accurate and compliant employee records and clearance documentation
- Support adherence to internal policies and applicable labor regulations
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
- Assist in managing status changes, leaves, employee inquiries, and performance documentation
- Support improvements in HR systems, policies, and workflows alongside the HR Director
- Monitor key recruitment and HR metrics (e.g., campaign performance, job ad spend) to inform decisions and reporting
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of progressive experience in recruitment and HR operations
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end hiring and onboarding processes
- Experience with HRIS/ATS tools such as Paycom, and comfort with platforms like Indeed and LinkedIn
- Excellent communication skillswritten, verbal, and interpersonal
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced remote environment
