Job description

Job Summary:

The HR Officer will be responsible for managing key functions of the HR Department, focusing on Labor Relations, Talent Acquisition, and Compensation & Benefits. This role ensures effective HR operations, regulatory compliance, and support for employee engagement and welfare. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of balancing multiple responsibilities within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Labor Relations:
  • Serve as the point of contact for labor-related concerns, grievances, and disciplinary actions.

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.

  • Assist in employee investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions.

  • Maintain updated labor records and case documentation.

  • Coordinate with legal counsel when necessary on labor-related matters.

  • Support in union negotiations or employee dialogues when applicable.

2. Recruitment & Selection:
  • Handle end-to-end recruitment process: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.

  • Collaborate with department heads to understand hiring needs and requirements.

  • Post job advertisements on appropriate platforms and manage candidate pipelines.

  • Conduct background checks and prepare job offer documentation.

  • Support new hires during orientation and ensure a smooth onboarding process.

3. Compensation and Benefits (C&B):
  • Assist in the administration of payroll, benefits enrollment, and government-mandated contributions.

  • Maintain accurate employee compensation records and ensure timely processing of changes.

  • Support compensation benchmarking and benefits analysis.

  • Handle queries related to salary, deductions, and benefits.
