About the Role
The Human Resource Manager oversees all functions of the Human Resources department of the Company and its affiliates. The role also provides business function support to our leaders and employees. The role also ensures the that the HR initiatives and strategies are aligned with business goals, cost effective and executed smoothly.
Job Description
- Talent Acquisition
- Develops and implements talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent.
- Collaborates with department heads to identify staffing requirements and workforce planning.
- Payroll, Benefits and Database Management
- Ensures completeness, accuracy and timeliness of payroll and on-time administration of cash and non-cash benefits of its employees
- Reviews current compensation and benefits packages and policies and proposes/designs improvements and enhancements.
- Ensures that the employees records, in the system and in the employee’s files, are accurate and up to date.
- Manages and oversees that the Health and Wellness programs are communicated and implemented in the organization and its affiliates
- Talent Management
- Ensures timely conduct of talent reviews and performance assessments.
- Develops Talent Development strategies which may include but is not limited to talent pipelines and succession planning to ensure a continuous flow of qualified candidates.
- Supports company’s strategic planning initiatives and roll-out of business objectives and directions
- Designs, executes and drives engagement programs in partnership with the Division Heads and Department Managers to enhance workplace satisfaction and retention.
- Conducts surveys and feedback sessions to assess engagement initiatives and engagement levels.
- Legal and Compliance
- Ensures organizations, including its affiliates, compliance with the labor and local laws and standards, including Data Privacy Act.
- People Management
- ISO Management System requirements for the HR Department
- Management reporting
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree holder - Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Relations.
- Must have 8-10 years relevant work experience.
- With experience in handling all facets of Human Resources, with strong focus on HR Operations, i.e. Recruitment, Payroll Administration, Compensation & Benefits and Health & Wellness
- Hands-on approach: The candidate will not shy away from the practical, everyday tasks involved in the role.
- Must have a managerial role for at least 5 years.
- With excellent people management skills.
- Willing to work on site.
