Job description

Position: Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

An integral part of the Human Resources Group Senior Leadership Team, the HRBP is a business-critical role functioning as a trusted partner to various stakeholders, including Senior Leadership, Business Units, and external associates. The HRBP is responsible for embedding a strategic consultancy model through the delivery of expert, value-adding, and dynamic analysis, advice, support, and pragmatic solutions within the context of the people and talent agenda.

With a deep understanding of the organization and HR expertise, the HRBP drives outcomes by implementing business-wide strategies, programs, and tailored interventions in areas such as:

  • Manpower Planning and Budget
  • Organizational Design and Effectiveness
  • Competency Management
  • Career/Talent Management and Succession Planning
  • Culture and Engagement
  • Performance, Rewards, and Recognition
  • Compliance Policies and Workplace Agreements
  • Conflict Resolution and Dispute Management

This is achieved through analytics, facilitation, and relationship building. The HRBP also acts as a key stakeholder manager, serving as a critical sounding board and escalation point between the business and HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) / Services communications.

Knowledge
  • Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Business, Organizational Behavior, Psychology, or related discipline
  • Extensive experience in HR Business partnering within similar industries or large strategic organizations
  • Strong foundation as an HR generalist in complex environments
Skills
  • Expertise in delivering HR solutions related to talent and career management, manpower planning, rewards, culture, engagement, and employee relations
  • Proficiency in interpreting and implementing HR policies, procedures, programs, and analytics
  • Strong business acumen, communication, negotiation, influencing skills, and a customer-focused approach
Abilities
  • Ability to build strong business relationships and think long-term based on diagnosis of business, people, and talent issues
  • Passion for supporting stakeholders and establishing trust as a collaborative HR partner
  • Skill in coaching, mentoring, conducting meaningful conversations, and supporting people's integration through change
