Job Summary
The Assistant HR Manager/HRBP is a strategic partner in driving the company’s talent strategy, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. This role oversees key HR functions, including Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Training & Development, Timekeeping, and Organizational Development. The HR Manager leads a team of HR professionals, collaborates with department heads to align HR initiatives with business objectives, and ensures the effective implementation of HR programs.
This position plays a critical role in building an engaged workforce, enhancing employee experience, and driving a high-performance culture within the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities
TALENT ACQUISITION (30%)
- Strategic Recruitment Oversight – Leads the end-to-end recruitment process for critical, managerial, and executive positions, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Process Optimization – Monitors and enhances team compliance on Manatal, sourcing, candidate endorsements, and hiring procedures.
- Pre-Employment Compliance – Ensures background investigations, pre-employment requirements, and recruitment reports are completed efficiently.
- Team Leadership – Manages and mentors the HR Supervisor and HR Assistant handling Talent Acquisition functions.
- Stakeholder Collaboration – Partners with department heads to ensure timely fulfillment of manpower requirements.
- Data-Driven Decision Making – Provides monthly recruitment analytics and reports to division heads for strategic workforce planning.
TIMEKEEPING & ATTENDANCE MANAGEMENT (10%)
- Policy Compliance – Ensures adherence to company timekeeping and attendance policies.
- Accuracy & Reporting – Oversees attendance tracking, payroll-related data, and leave management reports.
- Technology Integration – Recommends improvements in timekeeping systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
EMPLOYEE RELATIONS & LABOR COMPLIANCE (25%)
- Case Management – Oversees incident report reviews, Notice to Explain (NTE) issuance, and coordinates with Legal for case finalization.
- Administrative Hearings – Supervises evidence gathering and leads administrative hearings, ensuring due process.
- Labor Relations – Handles DOLE/NLRC summons and represents the company in conciliation meetings.
- Culture & Engagement – Leads the planning and execution of company events (e.g., Employees' Day, Christmas Party, Outreach Programs).
- Budget & Resource Allocation – Prepares and manages budgets for all employee engagement initiatives.
TRAINING, DEVELOPMENT, & ENGAGEMENT (20%)
- Employee Onboarding – Oversees the facilitation of company orientation and training for all new hires.
- Learning & Development – Designs and implements Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and employee development programs, ensuring compliance with the 40-hour training requirement.
- Collaboration & Execution – Works closely with the Corporate Training Department to roll out fundamental training programs.
- Engagement Strategies – Develops and implements new initiatives to enhance employee participation, motivation, and learning.
- Performance Tracking – Ensures proper documentation and monitoring of training effectiveness through training trackers.
ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT & HR ANALYTICS (15%)
- OD Initiatives – Leads and executes Succession Planning, Functional CBS, Darwin Box, and other key OD projects.
- Performance & Promotions – Oversees the OKR implementation and promotion process to drive performance-driven culture.
- HR Metrics & Reporting – Ensures timely submission of executive HR reports and dashboards.
- Process & Systems Enhancement – Monitors and ensures OD deliverables in OurLink are met based on set timelines.
- Job Role Clarity – Ensures all employees have updated and well-defined Job Descriptions (JDs) to support career progression and role clarity.

Education, Trainings and Licenses Required
- The ideal candidate must have eexperience working within a Human Resources Department and/or a confidential environment
