Job summary
The Aurora Subic Hotel in the Philippines is seeking a skilled Duty Engineer to join our hotel operations team. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and repair of hotel facilities and engineering systems during assigned shifts.
Key duties include monitoring and maintaining HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems; responding quickly to maintenance requests; conducting routine inspections; supervising maintenance technicians; ensuring safety
Qualifications
- Graduate of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical course.
- Licensed Engineer or TESDA certification is an advantage.
- At least 2 years of engineering/maintenance experience, preferably in hotels or hospitality.
- Knowledgeable in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance.
- Willing to work shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
- Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms and hotel facilities.
- Supervise maintenance technicians during assigned shifts.
- Ensure compliance with safety and engineering standards.
- Support preventive maintenance and energy-saving initiatives.
