Job summary

Create Synergies Inc. is seeking an Income Audit Associate to ensure accuracy and integrity of revenue transactions across multiple streams in a hospitality/service setting.

You will review daily income records, reconcile POS data, and support financial reporting with strong attention to detail. The role requires 1–2 years in income audit or revenue accounting, proficiency in ERP systems, and solid Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• 1–2 years in income audit, revenue accounting, or similar.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/QuickBooks) and POS systems.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and revenue recognition concepts.
• Excellent analytical and detail orientation.
• Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables).
• Effective communication and cross‑department collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate daily revenue transactions from all streams.
• Reconcile POS transactions, cashier reports, and settlements for accuracy.
• Verify discounts, voids, refunds, and complimentary transactions for proper authorization.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly income audit reports and revenue summaries.
• Ensure revenue is correctly recorded in the General Ledger.
• Support month-end closing with required reconciliations and reports.
• Investigate discrepancies between systems, POS records, and accounting records.
• Identify missing or inaccurate revenue and coordinate resolution with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and other departments to address revenue issues and prevent recurrence.
• Ensure compliance with policies, accounting standards, internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Suggest improvements to revenue monitoring and audit procedures.
• Provide documentation for internal and external audits.
• Participate in process improvements and automation initiatives.
