Responsibilities

• Supervises and monitors clinic staff and retainer doctors and dentists.
• Ensures delivery of quality medical and dental care to all members.
• Handles concerns raised by staff and doctors; coaches and motivates team.
• Manages outpatient approval requests for timeliness and accuracy.
• Prepares weekly and monthly reports for superior review.
• Ensures clinic equipment and facilities are functional and well maintained.
• Monitors clinic expenses and payments to doctors and hospitals.

It also operates 16 MediCard free-standing clinics that provide services at par with those offered by hospitals minus the confinement.**MediCard** is currently looking for assertive, dynamic and energetic individuals to fill up the following vacancy:The role is responsible to supervise and oversee clinic operations to maintain that personalized and comprehensive quality of healthcare is deliver to all members.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Supervises and monitor the clinic staff and retainer doctors and dentist. • Ensure that quality medical and dental healthcare are deliver to all members. • Handle and manage the concerns raised by clinic staff and retainer doctors and dentist. • Monitor and ensure the accuracy, timeliness and efficiency of outpatient approval request. • Guides, coach and motivate clinic staff. Ensure that redirection to FSC is implemented and monitor. • Review, monitor and assist in the attainment of objectives, measures, targets and initiatives. • Prepare weekly and monthly report and submit to immediate superior on time. • Approval of clinic staff and retainer doctors and dentist daily time records. Investigate and resolve Notice for Correction from Claims and complaints from internal and external customer and give appropriate action plan immediately. • Ensure that clinic equipment are functional and calibrated on a regular basis and clinic facility are well maintained and request repair if needed. • Monitor clinic expenses and liquidation. • Monitor the delivery of check payments for doctors and hospitals. • Perform tasks that may be assigned from time to time. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Education – Graduate of any 4 year Medical course • Experience – At least 2 years’ experience in clinic setting or working in an HMO is an advantage. • Other skills: With above average communication and empathic skills. Good negotiator, flexible and can do multi-tasking. Must be analytic, systematic and organized.
