Philippine Business for Social Progress Inc. seeks a licensed nurse to assist in the implementation and daily clinical operations of the HIV/TB treatment hub at Butuan Medical Center in Butuan City, Agusan del Norte.

The role involves HIV counseling, referral for TB screening, and contributing to reporting requirements. Applicants should have TB/HIV field experience and HIV counseling training, with strong communication, teamwork, and computer literacy.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed nurse.
• With previous TB or HIV experience; Training in HIV Counseling and Testing.
• Presentable, alert, with good verbal communications skills. Must be a team player, flexible and service-oriented.
• Working knowledge of counseling is an advantage. Computer literate.

Responsabilités

• Provides HIV counseling before and after HIV testing.
• Ensures proper referral of HIV patients for TB screening and management.
• Assists in treatment hub daily clinical operations.
• Ensures compliance of recording and reporting requirements of TB/HIV.
• Ensures confidentiality of records of patients diagnosed with HIV/AIDS and release of information.
• Ensures adherence to the provisions of RA 8504.
• Coordinates with hospital pharmacy on the provision and status of anti-retroviral drugs.
• Prepares and submits accurate and timely reports to DOH – EB and PBSP.
• Participates in training, supervision, monitoring and evaluation activities of the treatment hubs conducted by RO, NEC, NASPSP and PBSP.
• Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by the immediate supervisor and/or management.
