You will work on HINO vehicles, focusing on diesel engine maintenance and repair, under senior technicians, while upholding safety and the 5S standard in our workshop.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an Automotive course (Diesel) with trucking mechanic experience considered a plus, ready to deliver quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of Automotive course (Diesel).
• Experience as truck mechanic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely arrival at service workshop and readiness for work.
• Perform quality servicing of customer vehicles under senior technicians.
• Uphold the Fix-It-Right the 1st Time philosophy.
• Handle customer’s vehicle with care using protective items.
• Maintain inventory of issued tools and service equipment.
• Report unsafe practices or unusual situations to supervisor.
• Inform supervisor of additional repairs, delays or parts needed.
• Maintain 5S in the workshop at all times.
• Perform tasks assigned by supervisors.

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HINO Service Technician to join the technician team at Toyota Balintawak Inc. in South Caloocan, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to work on HINO vehicles and develop your expertise in diesel engine maintenance and repair. As a HINO Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in delivering high‑quality service and maintaining the reputation of our dealership by ensuring that every vehicle that passes through our service department meets the highest standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Job Description

• Ensure to arrive on time or ahead of time at service workshop and be ready for work
• Responsible in carrying out of quality servicing of customer’s vehicles by assisting their senior technicians
• Uphold the “Fix-It-Right the 1st Time” Philosophy
• Handle customer’s vehicle with utmost care by properly using the protective items like seat covers, floor mats and fender covers
• Maintain proper inventory of issued hand tools, equipment and service special tools
• Reports to their immediate supervisor any unsafe practices or any unusual scenarios happening in the workshop or any HINO Balintawak facility
• Inform their immediate supervisor for any additional repair needed, any delay in repair completion time or additional parts needed to complete the repair request of the customer
• Ensure 5S at all times
• Perform official task/s assigned from time to time by their immediate supervisors
