Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Highway Engineer to join our team for upcoming and ongoing infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of highway and road construction activities, with a particular focus on supervision and technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and supervise construction activities related to highways and roads, ensuring compliance with design specifications, codes, and standards.
• Review and monitor the implementation of construction methodologies and progress schedules.
• Coordinate with contractors, project stakeholders, and relevant authorities to resolve technical and logistical issues.
• Ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards on-site.
• Prepare technical reports, inspection logs, and progress documentation.
• Assist in quality assurance and control procedures.
• Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC Registered or equivalent).
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is an added advantage.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in construction supervision of bridge or highway projects.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with international consulting firms or organizations/agencies on infrastructure-related projects.
• Strong knowledge of highway design, materials, construction techniques, and applicable standards.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Experience in FIDIC-based contracts is a plus.
• Familiarity with international codes and practices in road and bridge engineering.
• Proficiency in civil engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, MS Project).
