RED Engineering Design is seeking a seasoned Electrical Engineer to develop HV designs, study power systems and produce diagrams and documentation for high voltage projects in the Philippines. You will collaborate with clients and teams, ensure compliance with safety codes, and contribute to design schedules, budgets, and technical coordination across stages of permitting and installation.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in electrical engineering or related field.
• High voltage engineering foundations.
• 3–4 years in high voltage electrical engineering.
• Knowledge of legislation and regulations for HV systems.
• Familiarity with safety codes and regulations.
• CAD software and electrical simulation tools.
• AC three-phase power systems knowledge (HV/MV/LV).
• DC power systems knowledge (MV/LV).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• MS Office proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Develop design schedules and budgets and prepare conceptual documents.

• Troubleshoot high voltage electrical issues.
• Communicate with stakeholders and promote a customer-centric environment.
• Define customer needs and ensure installations meet safety standards.
• Stay updated with new technology for designs.
• Conduct power system studies (ETAP, PSSE).
• Perform Load flow, Short Circuit, relay coordination and ARC flash analyses.
• Develop PSCAD models and analyze.
• Prepare one-line and three-line diagrams and AC/DC schematics.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop design schedules and budgets, and prepare conceptual engineering documents
• Provide technical support during the project permitting phase, and support clients with utility interface and technical coordination (knowledgeable in

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in high voltage systems
• Communicate with all stakeholders, and promote a customer centric environment
• Define customer needs and requirements, and ensure that installations and applications are in line with customer needs and safety standards
• Stay up to date with new technology that can be incorporated into new designs
• Conduct power system studies (ETAP, PSSE)
• Conduct Load flow, Short Circuit, relay Coordination and ARC flash Analysis
• Knowledgeable with High Voltage Electrical Equipment
• Develop and analyze PSCAD models
• Prepare one line and three-line diagrams, and AC/DC schematics

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or master's in electrical engineering or related field
• Excellent electrical engineering foundations for High Voltage Engineering
• At least 3-4 years of experience in high voltage electrical engineering
• Knowledge of legislation and regulations in high voltage systems is a must
• Knowledge of relevant safety codes and regulations
• Familiarity with CAD software and electrical simulation tools
• Knowledge of AC single - three-phase power systems and at high voltage, medium voltage, and low voltage levels
• Knowledge of DC power systems at medium and low voltage levels
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Computer proficiency using Microsoft Products (Excel, Word, Power Point, Teams)
