Job summary

New City Builders Inc. is seeking a Project Manager in the Philippines to oversee construction projects from planning through execution.

You will be the primary liaison between the client, construction management team, and internal stakeholders, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and quality workmanship. The role requires a Civil Engineer license with 5–10 years in construction and at least 5 years in project management, including on-site supervision and high-rise project experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Licensed Civil Engineer.
• 5–10 years of prior experience in the construction industry.
• 5 years Project Manager experience preferred.
• Experience handling a project from pre-construction.
• On-site supervision experience.
• Experience leading a project team.
• Experience in handling high-rise projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project schedules, resource allocations, and work plans in coordination with engineering and procurement teams.
• Coordinate with Area Manager and Construction Manager to implement the project plan and achieve client milestones.
• Act as the primary contact for the client’s representatives and stakeholders, maintaining open lines of communication and resolving issues promptly.
• Participate in regular client and stakeholder meetings to report progress and address project concerns.
• Oversee mobilization and optimal use of labor, equipment, and materials in alignment with the project budget.
• Monitor project expenses and track cost variances to ensure alignment with the approved budget.
• Ensure all construction activities adhere to established quality standards and project specifications.
• Enforce safety standards on-site and work with the Safety Manager to maintain a safe working environment.
• Oversee the preparation and submission of billing documents and change order claims to the construction management team.
• Lead and mentor the project team, fostering accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
