Prioritize safety for all plant operations, manpower, and equipment.
Operate and maintain loaders (two units) and dozers (two units), reporting to the Shift In-charge / Operations.
Maintain the health of heavy equipment through regular cleaning, inspections, and routine checks (filters, oil, water, air) as per OEM recommendations.
Operate the Material Handling Plant (MHP) for shifting coal, rice husk, and bed material to the ground hopper in coordination with the Shift In-charge / Material Handling Operator.
Monitor the coal yard, unload coal, rice husk, bed material, limestone, and manage stacking.
Operate the Limestone Handling Plant, shifting limestone to the ground hopper in coordination with the Shift In-charge / MH Operator / Field Operator.
Ensure discipline and adherence to all safety requirements within the plant.
Prohibit unauthorized personnel from entering or working near rotating equipment.
Conduct routine checks on loaders to ensure efficiency and health.
Manage shift activities related to coal unloading and handling.
Perform maintenance, cleaning, and housekeeping activities.
Maintain daily logs and record all work activities accurately.
Share experience to contribute to plant development and workforce skills.
Perform additional tasks as required during plant shutdowns or other non-operational periods, as directed by PPEI Management.
Comply with all policies, procedures, rules, and regulations set by PPEI Management for optimal plant operation.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager or as per site requirements.
Leverage past experience to help achieve company goals and undertake tasks beyond the current role when necessary.
Seek opportunities for learning and development through hands-on work and training in different fields as assigned.
Assist other staff during their absences, holidays, or resignations, as directed by the Plant Manager.
Maintain ISO-9001 documentation requirements within the plant.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
TESDA Certified NCII as Heavy Equipment Operator.
Vocational training in mechanics is preferred.
Possess a valid driver's license with restriction codes C or D, preferred.
Minimum of 3-4 years of relevant experience, preferably in coal-based thermal power plant operations.
