Job summary

Shacman Motors Inc. is seeking an on-site technician in Quezon City to perform preventive maintenance and repair of heavy-duty trucks.

The role requires knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and experience with diagnostic tools; field service work and safety are emphasized. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or technical training, experience with diesel engines, and the ability to troubleshoot complex vehicle systems.

Qualifications

High School graduate; technical/vocational training preferred.
Experience with heavy-duty trucks or diesel engines is an advantage.
Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
Ability to use basic diagnostic and repair tools.
Willingness to perform field/service work and maintain safety.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and repair of Shacman heavy-duty trucks.
Diagnose and troubleshoot engine, transmission, brake, suspension, steering, and hydraulic systems.
Diagnose and repair electrical systems, wiring, lights, batteries, alternators, starters, and sensors.
Use diagnostic scanners and other equipment to identify vehicle problems.
Replace defective parts and components; conduct vehicle inspections and road tests after repairs.
Prepare service/repair reports and document completed work.
Maintain tools and equipment in good condition; keep the service area clean and organized.
Follow company safety procedures and technical standards.
