Job summary

Shacman Motors Inc. is seeking an on-site technician in Quezon City to perform preventive maintenance and repair of heavy-duty trucks.

The role requires knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and experience with diagnostic tools; field service work and safety are emphasized. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or technical training, experience with diesel engines, and the ability to troubleshoot complex vehicle systems.

Qualifications

• High School graduate; technical/vocational training preferred.
• Experience with heavy-duty trucks or diesel engines is an advantage.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to use basic diagnostic and repair tools.
• Willingness to perform field/service work and maintain safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair of Shacman heavy-duty trucks.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot engine, transmission, brake, suspension, steering, and hydraulic systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems, wiring, lights, batteries, alternators, starters, and sensors.
• Use diagnostic scanners and other equipment to identify vehicle problems.
• Replace defective parts and components; conduct vehicle inspections and road tests after repairs.
• Prepare service/repair reports and document completed work.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition; keep the service area clean and organized.
• Follow company safety procedures and technical standards.

Responsibilities
