Optum in the Philippines is seeking a Collections for Healthcare unpaid claims specialist based in Metro Manila (Muntinlupa). You will interact with providers to verify claim status, collect unpaid balances and ensure invoice accuracy across multiple payer types.

The role emphasizes applying knowledge of payer guidelines and maintaining precise documentation. Experience with EPIC is a plus, and strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• College degree required.
• Minimum 12 months RCM AR follow-up experience.
• Experience handling unpaid, underpaid, rejected, and denied claims.
• Strong appeal letter writing and account documentation skills.
• Knowledge of payer guidelines, timely filing, and denial resolution.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• EPIC System experience is an advantage.
• Proficiency with Windows PC applications and the ability to learn new systems.
• Ability to multi-task across multiple products and benefits.

Responsabilités
