Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks an Application Development & Maintenance professional to support the development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. This role collaborates in a cross-functional team to build, enhance, and sustain software systems in line with design controls and good engineering practices, enabling internal workflows and externally-facing services.

The candidate partners with business leaders to analyze user needs and maintain existing applications.

Qualifications

At least 1 year of Brightree support experience is required.
Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
Healthcare industry experience preferred (diabetes care, medical devices, home healthcare, clinical support, payers/providers).
Ability to understand system workflows, application functionality, troubleshooting concepts, and data/integration discussions.
IT or technology background in application support, help desk/service desk, business systems analysis, or healthcare IT.

Responsibilities

Applies basic concepts, principles and technical capabilities to perform routine tasks.
Works on projects of limited scope and complexity.
Follows established procedures to resolve readily identifiable technical problems.
Works under direct supervision and receives detailed instructions.
Develops competence by performing structured work assignments.
