About the role

Xiangxin Construction Corp' is seeking an experienced Head Office Engineer to join our team in our Caloocan City office. This is a full-time role with excellent opportunities for career progression within our rapidly growing organisation. As Head Office Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the technical aspects of our major construction projects, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality are met.

What you'll be doing

• Providing technical direction and oversight for all engineering activities at the head office

• Reviewing and approving engineering designs, drawings, and specifications

• Liaising with project managers, site engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and problem-solving

• Identifying and mitigating engineering risks, and implementing appropriate control measures

• Ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards

• Mentoring and developing the skills of junior engineering staff

• Contributing to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and procedures

What we're looking for

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related discipline

• Minimum 3 years and above post-qualification experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction industry

• Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and quality control processes

• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills

• Proficiency in the use of CAD software and other engineering design tools

• Strong leadership abilities and the capacity to motivate a team

• Commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and professional ethics
