You will define engineering practices, mentor teams, drive CI/CD and deployment, collaborate with product and design, and ensure performance and scalability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of full stack development experience.
• Experience leading engineering teams or projects.
• Proficiency with backend technologies such as Supabase, Firebase, AWS, Node.js, or .NET.
• Strong understanding of SQL databases, APIs, cloud platforms, and software architecture.
• Willingness to learn Next.js and Supabase.

Position: Head of Software Development (Full Stack)

Schedule: Hybrid / US Time (Night Shift)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Overview

We're looking for an experienced, hands‑on engineering leader to drive the architecture, development, and delivery of scalable web applications. Experience with Next.js and Supabase is preferred, but we're also open to highly skilled full stack developers with experience in similar technologies who are eager to learn and work with our stack.

Key Responsibilities

• Define architecture and engineering best practices
• Build scalable backend systems, APIs, and databases
• Guide frontend development and performance optimization
• Mentor developers and conduct code reviews
• Drive technical decisions, CI/CD, and deployment processes
• Collaborate with product, design, and business teams
• Resolve complex technical issues

Requirements

• 7+ years of full stack software development experience
• Experience leading engineering teams or technical projects
• Experience with backend technologies such as Supabase, Firebase, AWS, Node.js, .NET, or similar
• Solid understanding of SQL databases, APIs, cloud platforms, and software architecture
• Experience using Claude as part of the software development workflow is a plus
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, including Next.js and Supabase
