Job summary

A7 Recruitment in Cebu City, Philippines, is seeking an IT Head to lead technology strategy, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and digital transformation. You will align IT with business goals while ensuring secure and scalable operations.

You will manage cloud and on‑prem environments, drive enterprise systems, and oversee IT projects, support services, and vendor relationships to enable growth and resilience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Engineering, Information Management or related field.
• At least 5 years in an IT leadership or managerial role.
• Strong experience with cloud and on-prem infrastructure, networks, servers and databases.
• Experience with business systems such as POS, lending, inventory, SAP and e-commerce.
• Solid knowledge of cybersecurity, disaster recovery and business continuity.
• Hands-on with Windows/Linux servers, virtualization and MySQL/MariaDB.
• Familiar with ITSM, helpdesk operations, and vendor contracts.
• Leadership, communication, and analytical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute IT strategy aligned with business goals.
• Lead IT infrastructure across cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of networks and apps.
• Drive cybersecurity initiatives and compliance.
• Lead IT projects from planning to delivery and budgeting.

• Evaluate software vendors and technology partners.
• Collaborate with leaders to identify tech opportunities for efficiency.
• Build and mentor a high‑performing IT team.
