Job summary

The Corporate Institute seeks a Vertical Head, Internal Audit COE to lead internal audit quality assurance and improvement (QAIP). You will drive audit quality, governance, and QA across the Internal Audit function, ensuring robust planning, testing, documentation, and findings.

The ideal candidate has 10–15 years in Internal Audit or QA, preferably in banking/financial services; professional certifications such as CA, MBA, CIA, CISA or CRMA are preferred.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years in Internal Audit / Audit QA / Methodology.
• Experience in banking/financial services preferred.
• CA/MBA/CIA/CISA/CRMA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive audit quality, methodology & governance across Internal Audit.
• Conduct QA reviews, thematic reviews and quality assessments.
• Ensure compliance with RBI/regulatory and IIA standards.
• Review audit planning, scoping, sampling, testing, documentation & findings.
• Challenge root-cause analysis, issue grading, closure and sustainability.
• Strengthen audit methodology, analytics, automation and control frameworks.
• Present audit quality dashboards and systemic themes to Head of Internal Audit & Audit Committee.
