- Formulates and executes HR strategies and programs that support business objectives.
- Oversees the various HR functions--ensuring alignment with business goals and directions, as well as promoting customer-centric processes and services that support a healthy employee life cycle.
- Provides professional leadership, support and development of the HR Team thru training, developmental assignments, sharing and promoting best practices to ensure that relevant and expected professional standards are met
- Oversees, facilitates and resolves management and employee relations matters.
- Ensures the timely delivery of all HR requirements and commitments.
- Ensures that the company policies and practices are compliant with current regulations, i.e. Philippine Labor Code, accepted professional standards set, policies and procedures.
- Advises and strategizes the development and implementation of policies
- Fosters employee development, engagement, motivation and retention.
- Provides timely, significant and accurate HR data and reports (internal or external in nature), as basis for crucial Management decisions and handling.
- Leads and manages the team effectively, and promotes and lives corporate values.
- Drives the continuous improvement and takes a lead role in strengthening organizational culture and performance, ensuring corporate values are displayed, leadership capabilities are fully developed or sufficiently skilled and enabled to activate their HR roles.
- Attends meetings and company initiated activities when needed such as WBR, Ugnayan etc.
- Monitors consultants’ contracts, and prepares renewal upon approval by the President & CEO and BOD.
- Provides data to stakeholders or fulfills special tasks when needed or upon request of BOD.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology or Graduate of any behavioral science course.
- Masteral degree or diploma certificate would be a plus
- Minimum of 10 years in the HR Discipline and in similar capacity
- Experience in the logistics business is a plus factor
- Vast working knowledge on various facets of the HR function to include rewards and recognition, HR systems and budgets
- Experience in determining, measuring and analyzing relevant KPIs for incentive schemes
- Well versed in Philippine Labor Law and latest developments on employment legislation
- Proven leadership experience in managing a department or teams
- Experience in making quick but rational decisions
- Business acumen and experience in using metrics to driving performance
- Ability to conceptualize/design and execute people and process strategy that will drive engagement and create positive employer brand ● Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to develop and nurture relationships across departments
- Superior interpersonal skills and carries a positive, approachable attitude
- Ability to provide sound professional advice
