Job description
The Head of Finance will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations and driving the organizations financial strategy and planning. This role will lead key functions including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, profit and loss reporting, tax compliance, and financial risk management.

As a senior leader, the Head of Finance will partner closely with the management team to build forecasting models, provide actionable financial insights, assess investment risks, and coordinate consolidated regional reporting. This position requires both strategic vision and practical problem-solving skills to establish scalable financial systems in a fast-growing business environment, while ensuring adherence to sound financial and accounting practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Lead financial planning processes by assessing company performance, market trends, and potential risks.
  • Coordinate regional financial consolidation and contribute to regional business planning.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (e.g., SEC, BIR) and submit all required reports on time.
  • Implement and oversee risk management practices to prevent high-impact financial issues.
  • Develop annual financial plans and projections in collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Perform financial modeling and analysis to guide strategic decisions and investment assessments.
  • Oversee preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide financial advisory and partner with business leaders to support decision-making.
  • Manage and monitor cash flow, ensuring strong internal controls are in place.
  • Supervise finance-related activities including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, and Management Accounting.
  • Ensure accurate payroll processing and compliance with payroll-related regulations.
  • Maintain compliance with accounting standards and oversee internal audits.
  • Implement and manage finance-related IT systems and tools.
  • Oversee banking relationships and borrowing arrangements, where applicable.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop finance and accounting teams.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or CFA certification is required.
  • Proven track record in a Finance Manager, Head of Finance, or equivalent leadership role.
  • At least 5 years of relevant finance and accounting experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams.
