Job summary

STMicroelectronics in the Philippines (Laguna/Calamba) is seeking a senior Facilities Operations & Maintenance professional to lead day-to-day facility operations, manage vendor contracts, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will spearhead continuous improvement, safety, and service levels across HVAC, compressed air, and power systems.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years in Facilities O&M, PM, Design, Construction/EHS with semiconductor background.
• 5 years leading a Facilities Operation team.
• Contract management and negotiations experience.
• Budget/cost management experience.
• Knowledge of SLA/KPI and semiconductor facilities systems (HVAC, compressed air, UPS).
• Licensed Electrical or Mechanical Engineer or allied engineering degree with significant experience.
• Knowledge of MS Project.
• Quality Management tools (8D/FMEA/DMAIC/5S).
• Regulatory requirements (DOLE/PEZA/DOE/ERC/BFO/Fire Code/LLDA/DENR/PDEA).
• Exceptional communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineers/supervisors in day-to-day operations pro-actively and sustainably.
• Attend to operational issues and emergencies with escalation to stakeholders.
• Regularly review system/equipment operation for efficiency.
• Ensure POR/SOP/LOP/WI are incorporated into Facilities system operations.
• Collaborate with Maintenance/Projects/Engineering/Quality for updates to LWPs/DI/changes.
• Ensure regular SLA/KPI reviews of service contracts.
• Foster personnel development in soft and hard skills.

YOUR ROLE

You take part in creating the best new hire experience in the project to completely renew our talent acquisition and onboarding process. You also help us with finding the best vendors for recruitment, and managing the a to z collaboration with them.

• Lead engineers/supervisors in running the day to day operations in a pro-active and sustainable way .
• Attend to operational issues and emergencies and ensure proper escalation to all stakeholders as early as possible.
• Regular review of System/equipment operation and ensure they are operating within the desired efficiencies.
• Ensure that all POR/SOP/LOP/WI are taken into the Facilities system operations.
• Collaboration and Alignment with Maintenance/ Projects/ Engineering and Quality for necessary update of LOP/WI /plans and or changes in any System or equipment design.
• Ensure regular SLA/KPI review of service contract .
• Ensure personnel development both soft and hard skill.

Your Skills & Experiences

• At least 8 years work experience in Facilities O&M, Project Management, Design , Construction/EHS and regulatory compliance in a semiconductor or related environment. With 5 years leading a Facilities Operation team.
• Significant knowledge in contract management and negotiations.
• Commendable knowledge in budget/cost (financial management).
• Knowledgeable in managing Service level agreements (SLA's or KPI's).Knowledgeable in a semiconductor key facilities system operation and maintenance like HVAC system. Compressed Air System, UPS and the like.
• License Electrical or Mechanical Engr or allied engineering courses with significant work experience.
• Knowledgeable in MS project management tool.
• Knowledgeable in Quality Management tools like 8D/FMEA/DMAIC /5Sand others.
• Knowledgeable in regulatory requirements such as DOLE/PEZA/DOE/ERC/BFO/Fire Code/LLDA/DENR/PDEA and the likes.
• Must have exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
• With good analytical skill.
