Job summary

GCash seeks a Cyber Threat Intelligence Lead to shape and drive the organization’s threat intelligence strategy. You will lead a skilled CTI team, develop threat models and risk assessments, and collaborate with SOC, IR, and Red/Blue teams to strengthen proactive defense.

The role involves building partnerships with industry and government, delivering executive risk insights, and advising senior management on geopolitical threats.

Qualifications

• Strong background in IT, computer science, or software engineering.
• Analytical and tech-savvy with a solutions- and process‑oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the organization’s cyber threat intelligence strategy aligned with business and security objectives.
• Build, lead, and mentor the CTI team to enhance threat intelligence capabilities.
• Establish intelligence-sharing partnerships with industry peers, government agencies, and law enforcement.
• Oversee threat intelligence processes, tools, and methodologies to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Supervise the collection, analysis, and dissemination of actionable threat intelligence.
• Ensure timely identification of cyber threats, adversary TTPs, and vulnerabilities.
• Oversee integration of threat intelligence into security tools (SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS) for proactive defense.
• Direct development of threat models, risk assessments, and scenario-based threat simulation.
• Collaborate with SOC, IR, and Red/Blue teams to enhance threat detection and response.
• Provide executive leadership with intelligence briefings, threat reports, and strategic risk insights.
• Advise CISO and senior management on evolving cyber threats and geopolitical risks.
• Oversee deep-dive research on emerging cyber threats and attack campaigns.
