Job summary

GoTyme Bank is seeking a Head of Credit Risk in the Philippines to act as the independent second line of defence for the consumer lending portfolio. You will report to the CRO and participate in governance forums, including Credit Risk Committee, ALCO, and Board risk oversight.

You will lead a team focused on challenging underwriting policies, refining risk appetite, and delivering data-driven decisions that balance growth with prudent risk management.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of credit risk leadership experience in financial services.
• Proven track record with credit models, policy design and risk governance.
• Experience engaging with boards, regulators, and auditors.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent credit oversight and challenge underwriting policies.
• Govern credit policy, procedures, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead co-decision on material credit exposures beyond first‑line authority.
• Calibrate risk appetite metrics and monitor portfolio risk.
• Conduct periodic independent portfolio monitoring and stress testing.
• Oversee impairment provisioning framework and forward-looking assumptions.
• Present findings to Credit Risk Committee and Board Risk Committee.
• Foster a sound risk governance culture and mentor the risk team.
