Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Handyman to perform general building maintenance across assigned facilities. You will handle routine repairs, maintenance of fixtures, furniture, and equipment, ensuring operations run smoothly and safety standards are met.

You will work with site teams, respond to requests promptly, and assist with basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical tasks as needed, while keeping tools organized and safe.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or vocational cert required.

About the Role

As a Handyman, you will perform general building maintenance, minor repairs, and preventive maintenance activities across assigned facilities. You will work closely with site teams to ensure operational issues are resolved efficiently and facility standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs for building systems, fixtures, furniture, and equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and identify repair requirements.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve facility issues safely and efficiently.
• Assist with basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical, and general repair works as required.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in accordance with safety and operational standards.

What We're Looking For

• High School Diploma, Vocational Certificate, or equivalent qualification.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in building maintenance, facilities management, or a similar role.
• Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting repairs.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
