Responsibilities

- Maintain tools and station: Keep tools clean and sanitized, and ensure the station is clean
- Stay current: Keep up with trends and popular hairstyles, and learn about new hair care products
- Build relationships: Develop relationships with clients to ensure they return for more appointments
- Follow policies: Adhere to salon policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Hair stylists need a cosmetology license, strong communication skills, and the ability to stand for long periods of time. They also need to be creative, have a good eye for design, and be able to stay up to date with the latest hair trends.
- Education: High school diploma or GED and Cosmetology license from a cosmetology school.
