Qualifications

• Graduate of a 4-year course.
• With at least 1-2 years related work experience.
• Certification as Functional Trainer and Personal Training (NASM, ACE, or equivalent).
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a variety of fitness classes with focus on member engagement and satisfaction.
• Provide one-on-one or small group personal training sessions, tailoring workouts to client goals.
• Upsell personal training packages and premium wellness services.
• Maintain gym facilities and ensure cleanliness and safety standards.
• Attend to emergencies inside/outside recreation area and follow disaster preparedness procedures.
• Assist guests with information about facilities, activities, and services.

Under the guidance and direction of the Front Office Manager, the Gym Instructor ensures safety of guests and visitors of the gym. Maintains cleanliness, set-up and safety of the fitness center and attend to all guests' needs within the Recreation Department.

• Lead a variety of fitness classess with a focus on maximizing member engagement and satisfaction.
• Provide one on one or small group personal training sessions, tailoring workouts to meet individual client goals. Upsell personal training packages to enhance client results and drive revenue.
• Proactively identify and promote opportunities for clients to upgrade to premium services, including advance fitness programs, nutritional coaching,and wellness pacakages.
• Maintain Gym facilities according to set standards of order and cleanliness.
• Conduct regular inspections of gym area to ensure cleanliness standards are maintained
• Control expenses at the gym
• Control towel issue and retrieval
• Familiarize yourself with facilities, activities, equipment, services and other pertinent information in order to provide guest with accurate information.
• Conduct activities and services for guest and members while giving proper instruction and safety reminders
• Attends to emergency situations inside and outside the recreation area to protect the health of guests, visitors and employees.
• To know all emergency and/or "Disaster Preparedness" procedure as a Gym Instructor
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the DM and or higher management

QUALIFICATIONS

• Good communication skills
