The Graphic Designer / Content Creator / Social Media Specialist is a hybrid creative role supporting the ISO Teams account. The role is responsible for producing on-brand visual and written content across digital and social channels, translating marketing briefs into finished creative assets, and supporting the day-to-day management of ISO Teams' social media presence. The position combines graphic design production, content creation (written and video/short-form), and social media coordination into a single accountable role, and is intended for a versatile creative professional who can move between design, copy, and channel management with minimal supervision.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Graphic Design
- Design digital and print-ready assets (social tiles, ads, brochures, presentation decks, email banners, signage) in line with ISO Teams' brand guidelines.
- Maintain and apply brand standards consistently across all creative output, including logo usage, colour palette, and typography.
- Prepare source files and export formats suitable for web, print, and paid media placements.
- Manage an organized asset library and version control for creative files.
Content Creation
- Plan, write, and produce content for social media, blog/website, email, and internal communications, aligned to the content calendar.
- Shoot, edit, and caption short‑form video content (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) suitable for the target audience and platform.
- Repurpose long‑form material (webinars, articles, campaigns) into multiple content formats across channels.
- Source or coordinate photography, stock assets, and third‑party content within licensing guidelines.
Social Media Management
- Schedule, publish, and monitor posts across the client's social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok) using an approved scheduling tool.
- Monitor comments, messages, and mentions, and respond or escalat e in line with the client's engagement guidelines.
- Track platform performance (reach, engagement, follower growth) and prepare simple monthly reporting with recommendations.
- Stay current on platform features, algorithm changes, and content trends relevant to the client's industry and audience.
Collaboration and Reporting
- Participate in briefing and check‑in calls with the ISO Teams marketing contact, translating verbal or written briefs into a production plan.
- Coordinate with BVS-OPC Operations on attendance, leave, equipment, and account administration.
- Escalate resourcing, scope, or brand‑risk concerns promptly rather than acting outside the approved brief.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent vocational training in Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, Communication, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated portfolio experience.
- At least 2 years of professional experience covering graphic design, content creation, or social media management, ideally in a combined or agency‑style role.
- A portfolio demonstrating both design output and social/content work is required at the interview stage.
- Prior experience supporting an Australian, offshore, or international client account is an advantage but not required.
Required Skills and Tools
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or InDesign) and/or Canva Pro for day‑to‑day design production.
- Working knowledge of basic video editing tools (e.g., Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar) for short‑form content.
- Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Later, Hootsuite, or similar).
- Strong written English for content and caption writing, with attention to brand voice and tone.
- Good time management and the ability to handle multiple concurrent briefs and deadlines independently.
- Comfortable working within an offshore/remote team structure and communicating clearly with an Australia‑based client contact.
