Job summary

Intrepid Asia in the Philippines is seeking a Graphic Design Intern to support our creative team by producing engaging visual assets for ecommerce platforms such as Shopee and Lazada, and potentially simple motion graphics using After Effects.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Merchandising, and Content teams to translate briefs into banners and product visuals, while maintaining brand guidelines and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college/university degree in Fine Arts, Multimedia Arts, Graphic Design, IT, or related field requiring an internship
• Proficient with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator; basic After Effects knowledge is a plus
• Solid understanding of layout, color, typography, and visual hierarchy

Responsibilities

• Design static ecommerce assets (banners, product visuals, promotional art) for Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, and websites
• Format and optimize creatives to meet platform dimensions and guidelines
• Assist with light motion graphics using Adobe After Effects
• Support marketing/content briefs by translating them into compelling visuals

From graphic design and content creation to product presentation and campaign assets, the team crafts experiences that captivate and convert. The part you will play

The Graphic Design Intern will support our creative team in producing engaging visual assets primarily for e-commerce platforms. In this role, you will work closely with Marketing, Merchandising, and Content teams to design static banners, product display assets, and promotional materials, with potential exposure to basic motion graphics and animation.

As a Graphic Design Intern, you will take charge of:

• Design static e-commerce assets: Create high-quality banners, product visuals, and promotional artworks for online channels, with a primary focus on platforms like Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, and website channels
• Format and optimize creatives: Adapt design layouts to meet specific platform dimensions, file formats, and technical guidelines, ensuring visual consistency across digital touchpoints
• Assist with motion graphics: Support the team on light animation or short motion graphic projects (e.g., simple GIFs or short social video assets) using Adobe After Effects when needed
• Support marketing and content briefs: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate campaign briefs into eye-catching visuals that drive customer engagement and conversions
• Maintain brand consistency: Apply established brand guidelines, typography standards, and color schemes while bringing fresh creative ideas to the table

Requirements

What we are looking for - the ideal profile

• Academic Requirement: Currently enrolled in a College/University degree in Fine Arts, Multimedia Arts, Graphic Design, Information Technology, or a related field requiring a school-mandated internship
• Software Skills: Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Basic knowledge or exposure to Adobe After Effects (for simple animations/motion graphics) is a strong plus
• Design Fundamentals: Solid understanding of layout design, color theory, typography, and visual hierarchy
• Platform Awareness: Familiarity with standard image dimensions and layout requirements for major e-commerce platforms (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok).
• Mindset & Soft Skills: Creative, detail-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with deadlines
• Collaboration: Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude when taking direction and receiving constructive creative feedback
