Job summary

Mini Depato Corp. in Metro Manila is seeking a graphic designer to determine layout for illustrative material and prepare files for print production, with attention to color fidelity and resolution. You will ensure accurate delivery to suppliers and support proofing processes.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in art/design, with 2–3 years of relevant experience and strong proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, HTML, Dreamweaver, and CMS, plus a polished portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in art/design/creative multimedia or equivalent.
• 2–3 years proven experience in the related field.
• Skills: Illustrator, Photoshop, HTML, Dreamweaver, CMS or other software.
• Creative and passionate about graphic design with organized, time-sensitive work habits.
• Able to produce creative material under short deadlines.
• Portfolio is essential for graphic design roles.

Responsibilities

• Determine size & arrangement of illustrative material, copy, and type; layout based on space and design concepts.
• Monitor competitors’ advertising to alert business units.
• Translate approved artwork into in-mall, digital & OOH requirements.
• Prepare precise electronic files for print production; ensure color accuracy.
• Maintain database of company graphic files, materials, supplies & equipment.
• Standardize layouts & print formats; verify signage charges to branches.
• Perform other related functions as assigned.

Job description

Responsibilities:

1. Determine size & arrangement of illustrative material, copy, select style & size of type, & arrange layout based upon available space & aesthetic design concepts.

2. Monitor competitors’ advertising efforts to be on guard against new promos or advertising campaigns and alert the appropriate business units.

3. Translate approved artwork into in-mall, digital & OOH branch requirement.

4. Prepare precise & accurate electronic files to print production specifications & ensure delivery to supplier; attend

proofing of materials to ensure that color grading/resolution is correct.

5. Maintain database of company graphic files, materials, supplies & equipment

6. Standardize layouts & print formats of store sign for dispatch to various branches; verify that branches are

charged accordingly for their signage requests

7. Perform other related functions as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree holder in Art/Design/Creative Multimedia, Advertising/Media, Marketing or equivalent.
• At least with 2-3 years proven experience in the related field.
• Required skills: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, HTML, Dreamweaver, CMS or other software.
• Creative and passionate about graphic design with an organized and time sensitive approach to work.
• Has the ability to produce creative material to sometimes short deadlines is essential.
• Has an up to date portfolio essential for any graphic design roles.
