Job summary

RRJ in the Philippines is seeking a creative Graphic Designer to support visual merchandising across stores and campaigns. You will design artworks for print, resize layouts, and collaborate closely with Visual Merchandisers and other departments.

You'll develop campaigns, create 3D layouts for displays, assist in planograms, and help manage visual materials from proofing to archiving. A Bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years’ graphic design experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Design, Multimedia Arts, Marketing, Advertising, or related field.
• 1–3 years of graphic design and printing experience.
• Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel Draw).
• Familiarity with 3D modeling software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, or similar programs.

Responsibilities

• Design and create all artworks for visual merchandising needs that are print-ready.
• Resize and improve existing layouts per requests; collaborate with Visual Merchandisers.

Job description

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Graphic Design Creation

• Design and create all artworks for visual merchandising needs that are ready for printing
• Resize and improve existing layouts and designs based on requests
• Work closely with the Visual Merchandisers and other related departments in all visual merchandising projects and store needs

2. Campaign Design

• Collaborate with the Visual Merchandisers in developing campaigns such as window display, activations, sale events, and other visual merchandising projects.
• Design and create all artworks needed for the campaign and apply it to a 3d layout

3. Visual Merchandising and Planogram

• Assist Visual Merchandisers in developing in-store planograms and visual merchandising guidelines for all stores
• Occasional installation of materials and visits to stores, activations, and events to familiarize and assess graphic design needs
• Competitive check in different malls and events with the Visual Merchandisers to stay up-to-date with the trends in retail design

4. Visual Assets and Materials Management

• Coordinate with the purchasing department for managing all visual materials from proofing to ordering and receiving of graphics.
• Organize and archive multimedia files efficiently.

5. Others

• Minor video creation and editing for in-store digital needs
• Perform other related graphic design tasks in visual merchandising projects as required.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, incorporating new ideas and techniques into the visual merchandising strategy.
• Perform other duties as maybe assigned from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Design, Multimedia Arts, Marketing, Advertising, or any related field
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in graphic design and printing
• Strong creative and artistic skills, with an eye for detail and design
• Proficiency in graphic design software and tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel Draw)
• Familiarity in 3D modeling software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, or other relevant programs
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Understanding of retail sales strategies and how design in visual merchandising impacts sales performance
