Job summary

Asia Recruit is assisting a Financial Services client to fill the role of Assistant Manager, Governance in Bangsar South. The position focuses on managing Compliance Programs including Anti-Bribery & Corruption, Data Privacy, Related Party Transactions, and Delegated Authority limits in the financial sector and payment industry.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in compliance/risk, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity, and strong stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years in compliance or risk management.
At least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
In-depth knowledge of governance requirements and industry standards in financial sector and payment industry.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage stakeholders across all levels.

Responsibilities

Maintain the compliance programme including training and awareness, Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption, Data Privacy, Delegation of Authority and Related Party compliance.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and review an appropriate Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption program for the Company.
Develop, review, and implement compliance policies related to the company's digital payments business.
Take responsibility for managing organizational policies, procedures, and guidelines and ensure its alignment with regulatory standards and industry best practices. Conduct policy reviews and revisions as needed.
Maintain the compliance universe database to ensure all relevant governance matters are up-to-date and complete.
Prepare accurate and timely compliance reports, updates, and documentation for both internal and external stakeholders. This includes reporting to the Management Audit Risk and Compliance Committee and the Board Risk and Compliance Committee.
