Job summary

RTX Philippines is seeking a compliance and trade-operations professional to ensure proper classification, country of origin determinations, and regulatory adherence for export controls.

The role involves handling J/C analysis, HTS classifications, and collaboration with the PH Trade Compliance Team to support SAP GTS workflows and documentation control. Hybrid work arrangement available in PH location.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years classification experience or familiarity with the process.
• 5 years of relevant experience with technical product information or engineering details
• Engineering and/or technical background
• Project management
• Proven ability to deliver
• Experience with classifications under the World Customs Organization (WCO), Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) is preferred
• Experience with US Export regulations; EAR/CCL/ITAR/USML
• 1–3 years working with Global Trade matters
• Experience with RTX/Collins trade compliance processes and systems is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform Jurisdiction and Classification analysis and validation.
• Perform HTS classifications.
• Support investigations and reviews of export/import compliance activities.
• Analyze business needs with respect to export authorization requirements.
• Maintain a compliance log for documents.
• Support implementation of process and instructions for JC, HS codes and country of origin.
• Collaborate with PH Trade Compliance Team to achieve targets.
• Ensure compliance before release of key business documents like SO/PO for SAP GTS.
• Work independently and respond to report requests.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams effectively.
