Level Up Talent Solutions is seeking a Lean-Pro Global Director - Tax to guide strategic tax operations, governance, and advisory support across multiple jurisdictions. You will oversee audits, controversy, and cross-border matters while collaborating with executives across Finance, Legal, HR, and Operations.

The ideal candidate brings senior tax leadership, strong technical expertise, and extensive experience in global or regional tax roles, including India and the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Taxation, Law, Finance, or related discipline.
• CPA or equivalent preferred
• Legal tax background (JD/LLM) strongly preferred
• Minimum 5–8 years of progressive tax experience
• 3–5 years in senior leadership, regional, or global tax roles
• Experience overseeing tax audits, controversy, assessments, and tax research
• Experience overseeing India and US tax compliance preferred
• Working knowledge of Philippine, US, India, and cross-border tax considerations
• Proven success leading geographically distributed teams
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management across functions
• Executive communication, judgment, problem-solving, and project management skills
• Experience in multinational, shared services, BPO, healthcare, or professional services environments

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee global or regional tax compliance activities across relevant jurisdictions.
• Manage tax audits, controversy matters, assessments, and legal tax research.
• Oversee India and United States tax compliance with local consultants and advisory firms.
• Apply knowledge of Philippine, US, Indian, and cross-border tax requirements.
• Provide strategic tax guidance to Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Legal, HR, Operations, and others.
• Lead tax staff and distributed teams; drive organizational design and succession planning.
• Support tax operating model improvements, process enhancements, and risk-control initiatives.
• Prepare executive-level tax updates, recommendations, and risk insights.
• Support tax matters related to international expansion and compliance calendars.
