Job summary

Northern Trust Manila is seeking a seasoned Compliance professional to support the Global Swap Dealer Compliance Program. You will work with Compliance, Legal, Risk, Operations and Technology to monitor governance, manage issues, and oversee policy maintenance in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

The role emphasizes quarterly reviews, regulatory examinations support, and proactive risk mitigation while ensuring timely execution and high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• 5-6 years of relevant experience in Compliance, Regulatory Risk, Audit, Financial Services, Governance, or related field.
• Knowledge of financial services regulations and regulatory compliance frameworks; experience supporting regulatory compliance programs, monitoring, testing, governance, or issue management activities preferred.
• Strong organization, analytical judgment, communication, and project-management skills, with the ability to independently manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Governance Administration: Prepare meeting materials, maintain committee charters, document meeting minutes, track action items, and support governance reporting for the Swap Dealer.
• Issue Management: Track issues from identification through closure, maintain logs, coordinate remediation, and validate corrective actions.
• Trade Reconstructions: Perform quarterly trade reconstruction reviews to assess compliance with applicable regulations.
• Periodic Compliance Reviews: Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews including personnel tracking, complaints monitoring, surveillance reconciliations, recordkeeping, and quality control.
• Policy and Procedure Maintenance: Update Swap Dealer policies and procedures to align with current processes and developments.
• Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery: Support testing coordination, results reporting and remediation tracking.
• Regulatory Examinations: Assist with examinations, internal reviews, and audits by coordinating requests and documenting deliverables.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships across Compliance, Legal, Risk, Operations and other stakeholders.
• Initiatives and Program Enhancement: Support strategic initiatives for effective execution and continuous improvement of the Global Swap Dealer Compliance Program.
• Program Execution and Delivery: Ensure accountability for responsibilities and on-time deliverables.
