Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a seasoned procurement professional to lead strategic sourcing initiatives and manage supplier lifecycle across global categories. You will negotiate contracts, analyze spend data, and partner with cross‑functional teams to deliver cost savings and improved performance.

The role requires 5+ years in procurement, experience in industrial or multinational manufacturing environments, and strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of procurement experience, preferably indirect sourcing.
• Strong commercial negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Experience in industrial or multinational manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in procurement systems (e.g. SAP, Ariba) and data analysis tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Advanced proficiency with either Bahasa or Portuguese.

Responsibilities

• Execute strategic sourcing initiatives aligned with category plans to deliver cost savings and performance improvements
• Manage supplier lifecycle including identification, onboarding, performance monitoring, and development
• Lead contract negotiations (up to USD 1M scope) ensuring favourable commercial terms and risk mitigation
• Analyse spend data to identify savings opportunities and demand trends
• Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver effective procurement solutions
• Track market trends, pricing, and supply risks to inform sourcing decisions
• Drive continuous improvement across procurement processes and tools
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance, and regulatory standards
