Job summary

Lycopodium Philippines is seeking a Structural Designer to join our Manila team. The role focuses on layout, detailing and collaboration with project engineers to deliver design data for materials handling and mine plant projects.

You will work with AutoCAD and Microstation, review vendor drawings and produce models and drawings from calculations. Strong communication and time management are essential for coordinating with the project team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• University Degree in Civil Engineering or 3+ years' experience in Structural/Civil Design.
• Proficiency in the design layout and detailing of chemical, pharmaceutical or refinery process plants.
• Understanding of fabrication and construction techniques in chemical, pharmaceutical or refinery process plants.
• Solid technical aptitude, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Attention to detail and exceptional knowledge across a broad range of disciplines.
• Proven time management and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Be proficient in AutoCAD and Microstation software, complying with necessary procedures.
• Assist in the layout and detailing of materials handling and mine plant design.
• Review vendor drawings and design data.
• Produce Company and industry standard models and design drawings from calculations and sketches.
• Ensure project design data within your area is disseminated to other project team members in a timely manner.
