Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking an entry-level SOX/SOC compliance analyst for its Manila office. You will support the Global Financial Control team, performing risk assessments, testing controls, and documenting findings to ensure compliance with SOX and SOC standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration, timely reporting, and ongoing learning as the team monitors controls across business units. A bachelor's in accounting/finance is required, with CPA/CIA a plus, and relocation to Manila if needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Experience in financial services preferred.
• Master’s degree a plus.
• CPA or CIA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review departments to document key risks and controls.
• Develop/test steps and document results for control assessments.
• Stay current on SOX and SOC rules.
• Communicate recommendations to partners at all levels.
• Identify and resolve problems within guidelines.
• Prepare formal reports and assist team to meet deadlines.
