Job summary

Reuters is seeking a Privacy Operations Analyst to drive day-to-day privacy program execution across UK/EU, US, APAC and more. You will coordinate DSAR responses, run risk assessments, maintain ROPA and data maps, and scale operations using Azure DevOps/Jira and automation tools.

The role partners with Legal, Information Security, and business stakeholders to implement privacy-by-design and steer cross-functional privacy initiatives across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in privacy/compliance/ legal operations or similar role.
• Familiarity with UK GDPR/EU GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, PIPEDA and related rights frameworks.
• Hands-on experience configuring privacy platforms for DSARs, PIAs/DPIAs, and data mapping workflows.

Responsibilities

• Structure and maintain privacy operations in work-management tools (ADO/Jira).
• Coordinate DSAR responses and data subject rights across jurisdictions.
• Develop KPI dashboards and reporting for leadership (DSAR SLA, risks, backlog).
• Support PIAs/DPIAs and TIAs for new products and vendors.
• Maintain and update ROPA and data maps across systems.
