Job summary

Chevron is seeking a Payroll Project Manager based in Makati City, Philippines. The role leads complex payroll initiatives across countries, coordinating with Payroll Operations, HR, Finance, Tax, Legal and IT to ensure timely, compliant delivery and smooth integrations.

The ideal leader combines hands-on payroll domain knowledge with structured project management, capable of steering cross-functional teams through change, transitions and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• End-to-end payroll operations knowledge across countries.
• Experience with payroll accounting, reconciliations, and month-end processes.
• Experience supporting audits and statutory requirements.
• Ability to lead complex payroll or HR transformation projects.
• Strong change management and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll projects across locations and vendors.
• Collaborate with HR, IT, Finance, Tax and Legal to ensure integration.
• Identify risks and ensure compliance and controls.
• Own project plans, budgets, RAID logs, and status reports.
• Drive data-driven improvements and digital tool adoption.
