Job summary

IWG is a global leader in flexible workspace with 5,000+ locations across 120+ countries. We are seeking a role to own the Invoicing platform and drive a global e-invoicing program from day one, with multi-country rollout and strong compliance focus.

The successful candidate will manage Basware as the primary platform, optimize touchless AP processes, and coordinate with suppliers, tax authorities, and business units across live and upcoming markets.

Job Purpose

Own IWG's Invoicing platform and deliver the global e-invoicing program end to end — driving live countries to touch lessness, delivering remaining and upcoming country rollouts, and managing the platform to account for a large, compliance-heavy footprint. This is an independent delivery role with direct financial and penalty exposure; it requires someone who can run the platform and program from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the invoicing platform (Basware — Network, AP automation, Insights, Guardian, supplier collaboration)as the point of accountability for its performance and roadmap.
• Drive touchless processing rates to industry benchmark across the live countries — working on supplier behaviour, receiving/matching quality and the AP process end to end, and report the metric to steerco weekly.
• Deliver the remaining country go-lives, each with its own compliance model, tax authority requirements and supplier base. Issue internal and external(supplier) communication and be able to generate E‑invoicing/compliant invoicing instructions for invoice submission.
• Provide ongoing change management and BAU support to countries already live, keeping the delivered countries stable.
• Deliver the pipeline of upcoming country extensions/E‑invoicing mandates — both scoped/known and not‑yet-announced — into the existing platform framework without loss of momentum. Interpret and apply country-specific mandates (e.g. Poland KSeF, France DGFiP, Slovakia, Norway, Greece) and translate them into platform and process requirements.
• Own AP metrics, steerco reporting and supplier communications across the estate.

Required Qualifications, Experience, Behaviours

• Hands‑on ownership or delivery of an e‑invoicing / procurement platform (Basware or equivalent) is preferred.
• Strong e‑invoicing compliance knowledge across multiple jurisdictions, with the ability to read mandates and turn them into platform and process requirements.
• Proven program and change management on a multi‑country S2P or AP transformation(~96 countries in scope)
• Ability to operate independently and hold third‑party service provider to account.
• Broader S2P/procurement transformation background; familiarity with touchless AP, E‑invoicing mandates and supplier onboarding at scale.
