Job summary

SGS is seeking an Onsite Laboratory Project Manager in the Philippines to lead financial modeling and proposals for new and existing onsite laboratories. You will coordinate with regional staff, prepare technical proposals, and manage schedules and costs to deliver timely laboratory builds and startups.

The role requires a science or engineering background, strong project management and English communication skills, and willingness to work extended hours as needed within a global team.

Qualifications

• University degree in a Science or Engineering related program with a strong preference in Geosciences.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review, assess and create financial models and proposals for onsite laboratories.
• Coordinate with regional and country staff on requirements, costs and schedules.
• Prepare technical proposals or tender submissions for onsite laboratory opportunities.
• Communicate with clients to develop new onsite laboratory opportunities and negotiate deals.
• Schedule and track designs, builds and renovations with local operating teams.
• Monitor equipment purchasing to meet project timelines and standards.
