Job summary

Compass Experience Labs is seeking an experienced IT & Information Security Manager / Data Protection Officer to lead global IT operations, cybersecurity, privacy compliance, and information governance in a hybrid setting.

You will partner with executive leadership, external security consultants (vCISO), auditors, and business stakeholders to ensure a secure, scalable, and compliant technology environment, including SOC 2 Type 2 ownership and enterprise security initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of progressive IT operations, cybersecurity, or infrastructure management experience.
• Minimum 3 years in a leadership role overseeing IT teams.
• Hands-on experience managing SOC 2 Type 2 audits and compliance.
• Experience as or with a Data Protection Officer (DPO) or privacy program.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT strategy, operations, and budget planning with a focus on ROI.
• Oversee cybersecurity program, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Drive privacy governance, PIAs, and data sharing/privacy clauses.
• Coordinate with vCISO, auditors, and regulators on compliance programs.
• Mentor IT teams and ensure alignment with business objectives.
