Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking an experienced Intercompany Accountant to support multi-entity close processes and ensure US GAAP compliance across global entities.

You will manage journal entries, intercompany reconciliations, and multi-currency reporting while collaborating with cross-functional teams to strengthen controls and drive process improvements. This role requires 3–6+ years in intercompany accounting, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle and SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with 3–6+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, intercompany accounting, eliminations, reconciliations, and ASC 830.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to manage complex financial data and drive resolutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across global teams and deadlines.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) and reconciliation tools (BlackLine, Trintech).

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities with intercompany focus.
• Prepare, review, and post journal entries including intercompany transactions and currency adjustments.
• Own intercompany close process including matchings, settlements, reconciliations, and eliminations.
• Support multi-currency consolidations and accurate financial reporting across global entities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve intercompany processes and controls.
